    I've got auto air con.

Anyway when I have the auto button pressed so that it is on.

I can hear a screech/squeak coming from it but if I take it off auto and increase the fan speed the screech/squeak goes away.

Goes in to Calterdon for them to have a look at it tomorrow as it is doing my head in. Could it just be a case of the fan needing greased or something???

Doesnt sound like the fan, sounds like the compressor. Where's the noise coming from roughly? have you listened outside?

Mine went no less than 3 times in my previous MINI...
