    Hey all

Iv not long bought an Alta 15% reduction pulley, so i put it into BMW (whilst my car was getting serviced)to be fitted and they said they wouldnt like to fit as they had problems fitting one before and couldnt get the standard pulley off so it took them 5-6 hours and so it would cost like 300 bone!! They seemed like they did not have a scooby what they were doing.

So does anyone know or recomend anywhere in or near Aberdeen that could do it for me at a decent price? Has anyone had theirs fitted up north?

I've had loads done and may know someone that could do it for you if you want? Could cost you between £100 - £200 but could not really say without asking.

iv got someone from mini2.com that says his mate will fit
the pulley to a new supercharger and then fit the charger
and give me the old charger for 250. seems not bad
considering superchargers are goin for 140 on ebay.

Just make sure he has a decent puller - a lot of people heat the shaft and yank the pulley off whilst it is cooling down, which invariably ends up in a bent shaft which means the pulley wobbles - which isnt good.

Companies such as www.gttuning.com have really good pullers and will fit a pulley for you for about 50 odd quid, if you can get hold of a spare charger to send to them.

I know who fitted the pulley on Kinghorns charger and I know the car it is out of - it would be a good deal

Can't fit the supercharger for you this weekend bud, As the guy who will fit it for you has just been called off shore.

So sorry but he said he will do it for you after Christmas if thats any good?

The supercharger and Pulley that kinghorn has came off my old car and is good if you want to go for it. It was also fitted by the same guy that would fit yours for you.

Sorry about the short notice but i just found out today.

This may give you time to save for a re-map. Have a look at
