EML light

    The blue mini EML came on yesterday morning.

    Would seem this was caused by the extreme cold.

    Has anyone heard of this.:question:

    Got the mini back from the dealers.

    They said:


    good news nothing serious a misfire caused by a lead thingy.

    We also gave your battery a charge was needing it which we knew.

    OH

    bad news:

    come and see this sorry mate your car is wider than what we're used to when taking it off the ramp we have major kerbed the alloy.:blackeye::mad::mad:

    Look on the bright side :(, at least they told you. My first car was grounded on a ramp at the dealers, but it was only when I returned to complain about the missing exhaust bracket and the scrapes on the underseal that they owned up! Plonkers.
    So, what remuneration are they offering?

    They are going to replace the wheel for us, but first we need to go to Zeemax and pay for a wheel and then give the bill to BMW to pay us. Ha Ha It's Zeemax prices and not BMW prices:)

    Good idea re Battery for the winter ...Insulate it !!!!, open the boot a fill the space around the battery with some sort of warm/insulating material .
