    Evening Folks,

I joined the forum years ago. I’ve not been on it in years. I picked up my R66 Cooper S Sport on Wed.

What are folks thoughts on the last ICE Cooper S sport.

I think losing the twin exit exhaust was an error.
The interior is a bit plasticy
    The steering seems lighter.

Anyone know much about the mini 9 OS? Anyone know if this can be hacked?

Is there anywhere doing new parts or decals with the new JCW logo.

I hope all are well and be interested to know you thoughts.

I’ve never been to a classic meet or a phat mini meet.

Is there a club associated with this website? Are there many meets in central Scotland.

I was 51 this year is that too old to go to meets?

Any info or hello’s much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Ronnie/Ronz/Ronster

Hi not driven the new car but I don’t mind the interior. Cars still a bit new for there to be lots of parts for them but I think SMPS do some parts. The forum is the club and we have several meets including social events and runs throughout the year that people of all ages are welcome to. We have lots of members of various ages

Never to old for a MINI meet or adventure, keep an eye on MINI meets and social to see what’s happening there is a run next week
there is a club through the forum and on FB and instagram, there are companies selling new JCW logo style badges ,think you are correct about the single exhaust but not a lot to do about that
The cars in front are New MINI Scotland

    Hi Ron, welcome back.

There's a run next Sunday if you'd like to join and bring along the first ever 4th generation MINI to an NMS event.

As for the new generation, there's parts I like and parts I don't. I'm not keen on the Cooper S losing most of its sporty trim but that's the route MINI's chosen to go down. Thankfully, there's one or two aftermarket companies already offering items that bring back some of the excitement. Milltek for example offer a twin-exit exhaust for the Cooper S with a unique trim panel to fit the new bumper.

I do like that the new car looks more modern and the electric models in particular do look quite sleek.

At the moment I'm less offended by the styling of the F66 compared to the styling of the F56 back when it launched. Only time will tell whether that's a good or bad thing.

    Welcome back to NMS!

AliExpress do loads of decals and accessories.

Definitely not too old for meets and runs, the run next Sunday should be a good one.
