Holy thread resurrection!
We're back ....... again.
Julie's JCW (above) was, sadly, written off 1 year and 1 day after we collected it new. Thanks to a foreign driver we met just north of Spittal of Glenshee who had forgotten what side of the road we drive on here in the UK.
We were fine, JCW was written off.
A 308GTi270 (surprisingly good) filled the gap while the insurance companies fought back and forward, from the UK to the foreign drivers homeland in Amsterdam.
Long story short, after having the mini bug re-kindled after visiting the last Tartan Tarmac breakfast meet, we've agreed today to acquire a familiar car of this parish. After a test drive earlier this morning, William's old JCW Challenge #20 will be replacing the 308 in a couple of weeks.
