Is it just me that thinks the new jcw gearknob handbrake and steering wheel look like something you would find on wish.

And if the price I saw someone said they cost is right close to £300 for the knob and handbrake

I think they look really nice, but the price I saw for the gearknob and gaiter was £175... it’s not that nice, I’ll stick with my R56 version

Not a fan of faux carbon. It suits a lower grade car like Vauxhall or Toyota. But for a mini I want leather, metal, Alcantara or real carbon

I seen that recently on another Mini page and was shocked at price, even with a discount looking at £270 for both!

You think for the price it would be like Carbon or Alcantera!

Got a link? Had a quick look on the Mini website but all I could see was overpriced 'lifestyle' tat

Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs

I quite like the new JCW accessories, MINI have been fairly lacking in F56 accessories compared to previous models.

Are they not real carbon ?
They look like matt carbon to my weary eyes.
The red rings make them look too “cheesey” and would look better in matt black in my opinion, the flat bottom steering wheel looks great but needs to be full leather and not the mank magnet that is Alcantara.

Totally agree there Pete, I once had a Alcantera gear lever in one of my previous cars, got totally manky, can imagine how much a steering wheel would get manky, imagine the mechanics at service time!

Thanks William, appreciated. Carbon as tinsel has never been my thing, but they look ok to me - matt carbon seems to be the latest thing with supercars, and IMO looks better than the overly glossy stuff - especially on interior surfaces
