I know this sounds like heresy, but 40 grand for a Mini is just a bit bonkers. I know you can already spec a Countryman to over that, but seriously, would you?

£40k is a bit bonkers for a mini and I feel with Mini becoming more of premium brand it’s going to lose a lot of the people who bought into the brand.

My R53 was £15k in 2002 but I specced it to about £17k. Kept it for 15 years and last year spent £29k on the JCW.
