Sorry for all the questions but

On the r53 after youve done the usual pulley reduction, fmic/tmic and air feed/filter, what else can you do for more power? Bigger charger? Bigget injectors?Safely obviously :)

Also same on the 56 after youve done fmic, air feed/filter etc what else can be done? Same as above?bigger turbo, injectors etc?

Er.... Maybe just go and find a good road and enjoy yourself? In my humble old farty opinion, if you think you'd need more from the R56 after doing the intercooler, exhaust, intake etc and a remap, which should give well over 200bhp and wads of torque... I'd try that lot first.

It's all about balance, a well set up Mini (suspension, brakes etc) with 200 BHP will be much nicer to drive, more reliable and probably more fun than a BHP monster. Probably quicker from A to B too! Also, big power doesn't come cheap, after a certain point you'll be into 'diminishing returns' territory, where you have to throw big money at it for smaller gains. Then it goes bang along with your wallet!

Get it going well and spend the rest on petrol and and Highland hotels!

2008 R56 COOPER S, Pepper White, Black Roof, 'John Cooper' Signature Side and Bonnet Stripes, JCW 'Stage 1' Tuning Kit, Forge Intercooler, Milltek Downpipe & Sports Cat, ALTA Induction, Chris Knox/DNA Remap, JCW/Brembo Brakes, Limited Slip Diff, JCW Suspension and Front Strut Brace, 17" Crown Spokes with Non-Runflat 205/45x17 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, JCW/Recaro leather Seats, JCW Sideskirts, Chili Pack, Front Spotlights. Still got my old Hendrix Badge blu-tacked to the dash!

No more extra power without the car being mapped for them
You also have to adapt the injector wiring as the 380's and 550's are different from standard that is unless you have a jcw
