R53 GP1 - best discs and pads to buy ? Help !

    Hi all, I've now got a R53 GP.....the brake discs are needing changed - what type/size would I need to fit these JCW calipers ?? MTec ? Grooved and drilled front and rear ? Too much choice !

    Alot of members really rate the MTec disks but I'm sure someone will be along to advise on what they are using

    I've had the M-Tec drilled and grooved Black Edition on 1499 for well o'er 3 years and I love them.
    I've done about 20K since I bought them and they are still going very strong.
    It was a struggle for me to work out which set I needed but after a quick chat with them via email they sorted me out and now actually specify on their site which ones are for a 2006 JCW S GP.

    If in doubt about anything email them first before you order because they are very helpful.
    They have done me proud on the daily commute and also on very spirited hoons.
    I will replace mine with another set as and when they are required.
    They also give a slightly meaner look to the car.
