Just bought a new dipstick after getting a bit worried about the bend my standard one was exhibiting.
A wee bit too long, but after offering it up to my Mini dipstick, I know where to fill to.

Ooooohhhhh I like them but bit the bullet for a new OEM one instead.

You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
You could maybe lightly create a mark by using a junior hacksaw at the full level when compared to the original
