What you upgraded to?
(Interested mountain biker here, not after your brakes, sorry!)
Feet were made to fit car pedals. If we were meant to walk, we'd have pogo sticks for legs
Haha well these we're on my wife's kona, I run hope mini's on my Marin free ride bike and she liked them so I got a decent second hand set off eBay and fitted them instead, much more powerful and a lot better feel.
I used to be massively into my biking, had a few good bikes both DH and dirt jumpers but now just got my Marin which I kinda use now and then for a bit of everything lol
What you riding ?

Nice one Gordy mine is a wolf ridge so think it's just a model up from the alpine trail from memory !
I can't remember for the life of me what year mine is though, it's got a really high spec, mainly all XT stuff, float r forks 130mm travel, and float rl rear shock
I had a Wolf Ridge circa 2003! Had Hope Mini's as standard but the freewheel in WTB wheelset wasn't up to Scottish (wet/muddy) conditions and would regularly fail.
The current model Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes are astounding value for money; can be found for about £30 an end if you don't need new rotors! I've replaced old Juicy 3's on my wife's bike and older SLX brakes with them and they're more comfortable, more powerful and have better modulation.
Down to just the four bikes now since selling a carbon cyclocross a few days ago; Scott CR1 road bike, On-One Lurcher, Salsa Mukluk fat bike and an older Giant Trance.
Yeh the wtb hubs are crap, I'm running XT stuff :)
Think yours is earlier that mine (going by the rear swinging arm design anyway) but a very similar spec to mine all in all. I've had to fit a new chain and SRAM X7 rear mech this week due to me destroying the rear mech and snapping the hanger clean off......!!!! Long walk / push home as it always seem to happen at the furthest point from the house......dohh. Fitted new tyres as well....schwalbe nobby nic's
