    I found the culprit. To my shame and embarasment, it turned out to be a dumpy screwdriver wedged betwixt the gearbox and subframe - see blue item in pics below.....

    I might hold off on the Powerflex bushes just now..............

    That's a result and a cheap fix too


    At 8000rpm no-one hears you scream !
    You only need two tools in life WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should use WD40 and if it moves and shouldn't use Duct Tape.
