I just had a wee go at the "go badge" then left it for someone with more skills than I had to do a logo .. Think others wanted a "refresh" of the current logo rather than a new one so it was out of my league ..

I had some ideas but got the feeling a new logo was not wanted by most so have not posted my ideas.

Oh. It seemed to me that lots of people were all for it, only one was against, and one pointed out that changing the round logo but keeping the colours would be efficient. I'm disappointed

I'm resurrecting this thread for 2 reasons.

1 - I need more clothing (due to wear and tear as its over 4 years old) so we look better at shows which at least 3/4 of us have made a commitment for next year. And

2 - I don't like the current logo and I've never really liked it. I liked Baz's original one but it's not showing on the thread from 2008.

    Discuss !

yep would be good to ave some clothing to where at shows and runs

I'm all for a new logo. Stoney and myself have discussed that a QR CODE logo may be a good idea to link you straight to the site. I think a logo that can be used as a sticker is the way forward, instead of something like the logo we have and a www. sticker as well.

Not sure about the sticker change as we still have hundreds of inside stickers (not as many outside ones) which Alan has paid for ....

Agreed Craig there needs to be discussions and then some ideas possibly followed by a vote

I came up with this but it was just a quick idea to send to Alan.

    Like your idea William too.

^^ you've obviously seen Craig's driving to come up with that logo Grieg .. Looks good though and I agree if you can use it for stickers etc it makes more sense.

Not much point looking to have a logo/sticker that would incorprate a QR Code with one club branding for clothes, tax disc holders and keyrings etc then. As the main idea of this would be to have a logo and sticker that has this QR to allow anyone who sees the sticker on the cars, leaflets etc etc to have as QR suggests a quick response to the site. Hopefully using something like this would see the site gain more active members.

Possibly something to look at as aren't these inside outside stickers rather dated now and are a pain to even peel from the paper and a tad bland, compared to other car clubs stickers IMHO.
