Ok, for once, i'm gonna be deadly serious, if you wash down the snow foam i would expect there to be grit contained within the foam and no matter how many times you rinsed the mitt you'd always be taking the chance of scratching the paint

Just my tuppence, but, i'd snow foam and rinse with a power washer or hose type thingy jet spraying kinda thing
