    So what's the Semi-Auto roof when its at home, does it pop up gas powered or go down and lock by gas powered? To me if you have to throw it it back with your hand its more or less a manual roof.

    Stewart, I get the impression the semi-auto roof means you need to push it down yourself and clip/click it into place to hold it open. To close the roof you press a button and gas dampers push it part way up so you can grab it and pull it closed. But I could be well off the mark there.

    The world has just come crashing down around us. Our worst fear has been realised and it puts in jeopardy us ever buying another MINI - Roadster or not.

    MINI are discontinuing LASER BLUE.

    discontinuing LASER BLUE.

    Andy you need to start a Face book campaign to save it.
    I always fancied the blue as it worked so well with the black roof.
