    My Dad.

Qualified with City & Guilds in instrumentation and electromechanical engineering.

He's 75 but still helluva sprightly and still actively involved in the cinema - especially tinkering with the projectors - but I doubt he'd pass the fitness test. Sorry dude.

As I said ages ago, sorry to be missing this one folks.

Re. Speeding. Me and my pal Bill were away up North (Ullapool, Kylesku etc) 'road-testing' his new VW Polo TD (61 MPG overall driving normally) a couple of months ago - I think his wife just wanted peace for a weekend. ANYWAY.... we spotted quite a few Mobile Speed Traps in various locations where you'd never have seen them in years gone by. One particular one in a layby (Northbound) about 5 miles before Ullapool. Luckily we were in a wee Polo and not the S, otherwise I'd probably have nice shiny new points now.

So just BEWARE - the roads are so fantastic up there that you do tend to 'enjoy' them, but just keep it in the back of your mind that Big Brother could be round the next curve waiting to take your photo. Of course, there's just as likely to be a Tractor or a Deer - which will cause more immediate and painful damage! Stay safe and have a great run.

2008 R56 COOPER S, Pepper White, Black Roof, 'John Cooper' Signature Side and Bonnet Stripes, JCW 'Stage 1' Tuning Kit, Forge Intercooler, Milltek Downpipe & Sports Cat, ALTA Induction, Chris Knox/DNA Remap, JCW/Brembo Brakes, Limited Slip Diff, JCW Suspension and Front Strut Brace, 17" Crown Spokes with Non-Runflat 205/45x17 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, JCW/Recaro leather Seats, JCW Sideskirts, Chili Pack, Front Spotlights. Still got my old Hendrix Badge blu-tacked to the dash!

Not good Paul. Hope you feel better soon, especially after all the work you've put in to organising this event.
