I've tried using throwing knives but have NEVER even hit anyone far less killed them with one

You watch the kill replay and you see the throwing knife whizzing past then they shoot you......not a good look.
I gave the riot shield a bash on sat night, Don't think I have died as much in my life. Needs perfecting me thinks.
