    Looking for volunteers....

We are being joined on this run by a reporter from Modern MINI. They are doing a full run report similar to what they did for Craig's Argyl & Bute run a couple of years ago.

The reporter is on his own and would like to take photo's en-route and is looking for a passenger ride with a single driver.

Ideally the MINI he's in should have a sun roof so he can stick his head out and take photo's, but I wouldn't think this is essential.

Ideally he'd like to meet at Hermiston Gate (no doubt Craig will be organising a Hermi Gate rendezvous there soon) and join you in your MINI at that point. He would leave his car at Hermi gate and come down with you, and then go back up with you to Hermi gate for him to pick up his car again.

    Any volunteers?

Ay oop.. I need to get myself on a run really soon, and feel bad that I missed the Picninc run.. can you put me down for this please?
I need to put some face to names from Northern Mini too!

..and I'm 99% sure I'll be on my own, so I volunteer my services! No sunroof, but hey..
I'll be passing that way anyway, on the way down and back.

    Let me know

    Cheers Euan.

I'll add your name to the list for MM possibilities.

If Mrs D doesn't make the run for any reason, I could help out with the MM guy. Maybe he would like to go in more than one car during the day ?

Still looking for volunteers for this. Ideally, someone with a sun roof.

I've been reluctant to post in this thread as I'm still not 100% for joining, but the signs are looking better.

Thus my Clubman D with sunroof will probably join at ASDA and could be a camera car option if the MM photographer fancies popping his/her head out of the top or taking some shots through the back with the doors open.

We'd need to agree some details but my only pre-conditions are that:

Both my passengers are offered lifts, 'cause they ain't walking.
The photographer takes his/her shoes off before climbing around on my Tuscan Beige leather.
He/she provides an adequate safety belt and the means of attaching him/herself if he/she wants me to drive at run speed while shooting out of the back.

    But it's a D, not a GP, so I won't be offended if there's a better option.

And I won't be able to firm-up anyway until Monday.
