I visit MU and Nam from time to time...good reading on those sites....but I do spend a lot of time thinking GOD NO!!!!

Don't know if I would want to risk my lights on a mod like this to be honest. As most of the threads on the "Joey mod" suggest you should have the money to buy new lights if it goes wrong.

Don't think it would suit my mota anyway...but a PW...mmm

i have been following Motoring Underground for a few months now and some of the cars on there are some of the best in the world i think....

Some of my favourites especially the Black Euro Look MINI which is a UK car

What's with the fashion for removing the rear wiper, how daft is that?

I'm not so sure they have the same problems with rain collecting on the rear screen like we do, but, as you say, why remove it, it does look different though

Its not that daft in California where it hardly ever rains...and the car get covered in dust and grit. One of the reasons they remove it is because the grit that is trapped between the wiper and the glass acts as sandpaper and scratches the glass. I've heard loads of guys complaining about this over on NAM. They reckon its because of the angle of the rear glass.

Of course, some do it for looks. I've been able to live without a rear wipe without any problems.....yet

I have noticed small scratches on my rear screen when washing and drying the car. But i suppose it is not surprising considering the amount of dirt that gets kicked up on the back of our cars... The MINIS seem particularly bad for this compared to other cars you see on the road.

The no rear wiper mod looks good but not very practical over here right enough. I like cars that have been flushed and smoothed out a very subtle modification. I am not into big spoilers and bodykits....

Here is another pic i found with no rear wiper or spoiler. I don't know if it is just me but at the back these cars look a bit more like the Classic Mini shape. I think it is the lack of spolier that does it.. Does anyone see it? Or it could still be the alcohol in my system from yesterday....

Have to agree with you on the classic mini likeness, i quite like the mini badge being where the wiper arm was
