    That's what we figured Fi. That and the Thistle run miles will be on the old mowta, instead of the new one. We were also thinking on some thistle run's you do have to cane the car a wee bit, and whilst we don't really subscribe to the "keep it below 4,000 revs for 1,500miles" theory, we didn't really want to be in the position were we have to cane it to keep up.

    4000 revs in 6th is about 110 mph you would be wipping ass not struggling take my word for it . As much as mines a dog i can go like feck with a hell of a racket coming from the gearbox.

    Fi, it's still in the hands of DVLA. Sort of hoping to pick it up on Thursday or Friday this week, but in all honesty I seriously doubt it will be back that soon. So probably next Thursday or Friday.

    Because of the distance to Menzies and our (weekend) days being Thurs and Fri, those are the only days we will be able to pick it up.

    Why don't ya just get the car with the normal plate on it, then, transfer it yourself at your convenience means you get the car when it's ready and no waiting whingin on here

    That is what I'm doing while I wait on my registration getting transferred from the lexus onto renention.
