ARGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Seat Belts

    How annoying is the seat belt in the new R56.

    Who in gods name every thought that design feature was acceptable I'll never know.

    Open door - sit in car - close door - reach to get seat belt - open door - pull seat belt through - close door.:(:(:(

    I always forget to grab the seat belt before I close the door first time round.:I:I

    With mine, as long as you set the height of the seat belt buckle up near the top it is fine.

    You can also buy a holder which clips onto the headrest post.

    I agree though, it is far from perfect. Price you pay for big, comfy seats

    Most cars you push in and slide...but me no have real MINI so me no know for sure

    Somewhere on the seatbelt there is a little plastic clamp that can slide up and down but prevents the buckle dropping down too far.
