thing to fix the prob would be a Five min timer then they fold.
Mini as it was. As it is. As it always will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's up to you to decide if it counts!
Saab is the same as Mini, its a nice option but does leave you struggling to see before you open door.
Well you just need to look before you open the door and press the button to fold the mirrors as you get out, thats what I do...

I wouldn't trust the mirrors, to be honest. When I'm getting out I always have a glance over my shoulder. Mirrors have blind spots. Wouldn't trust them for getting out a car. As such, our folding button is fine. All just IMHO.
Our X5 is the same. No option for folding from key fob. Shoulder glance again.

i'm not sure but i though that it could be coded so that when you pressed lock they folded... i'll find out at work on monday
