I had to wait a cool 6 months for mine, but then it was ordered way back in march 2001 and I finaly took delivery on the 9th of sept that year.
Well worth the wait.
We got a gunmetal S the week after we signed for it at Morrisons in Kirkcaldy - just so happened they had the one we wanted in stock. Even if we were choosing from scratch we were only quoted a month's wait, that was in September.

Oh, when you say gunmetal - do you mean Dark Silver?
It was Weefossy who first called dark silver/gunmetal to me....In the context " it was a gunmetal Mini that burned so and so off !" Kindof stuck, but could see why its not the official name !
