Craig, it should be “interesting”. On my old Mini 1000, I tried to retain my 'big bore' system (with LCB Manifiold), but swapped to a 95BHP Big Valve 1275. It sounded like a Healey 3000 on Nitrous - but I had to end up fitting an RC40 System with the LCB which was good for power, but MUCH quieter on a long run. The big exhaust with the big engine was just TOO LOUD - even louder than my current set-up. No Cat, probably no baffles... aah, the things you put up with when you're young and in a Mini - or older and in a MINI. “Plus Ca Change, Plus C'est la meme chose”. As we say in Larkhall.

Aahh.. I remember well my second ever Mini <insert Scooby Doo wavy flashback sequence> large bore centre exit exhaust.. which fell apart on my way home one night...from just in front of the *only* <heh> 'silencer'... about 2' of pipe fell out.. never found it .. but the racket on the way home!
