are all wheel nuts the same as i have put on steels for the winter which are 15 inch in size and tried 2 put on 15inch 3 series wheel trims and they dont fit as they are stopped from going right on by the length of the nuts ,they were the nuts that came with the 16 inch alloys from new ,or is it just that the 3 series trims are different from mini ones cheers choc

The MINI has wheel studs as opposed to nuts, but I'm sure you knew that. The three series wheel trims will be a different design to the MINI ones as BMW's have a five stud hub.

The MINI has wheel BOLTS not studs

I have not looked at the wheel bolts mini use for steel wheels but I would think they will be shorter:)
