    can u put non runflats onto standard mini 16 inch 5 star alloys ,mates missus was told u cant ,is this right ?

    If it was the dealer they will say no - however don't listen to them - save yourself £50 per tyre and go for normal rubber - they fit fine.

    Auto Express have just done a test on runflats:approve: on a 5 series mind you but there results came up in favour of the runflats Said car stopped quicker in the dry and wet with the runflats rather than normal tyres......strange:evil: Didn't say what normal tyre they used tho. Think the 5 series is design around using runflats though which they said made a difference :approve:

    Isn't there debate that run flats were a last minute decision on the mini and it isnt actually designed for them, hence the reason the new, new mini is and has a better ride because of that fact?
