clicky links

    can someone tell me step by step guide how to do a clicky link in threads.

    instead on the address coming up which is what I usually put in and then some kind mod comes along a puts it into a clicky with a nice title. How do you do that.:question::question:

    Fi, go look at one i did in the for sale section, clcik the edit function and see what to do.
    Basically you do this:-
    [url=" then insert your web address here but no gaps at the brackets " ]now put any text here with gaps [/url ]

    Or.... to make thing simple without having to type in any HTML code..

    Where the Format Mode text is above your big white text box when typing a message or replying, change the drop down arrow selection to 'Prompt' instead of 'Basic'
    Now this will affect all three modes for entering Links, Email Addresses or Images using the icons above the 'Colour' drop down list.. (make sense?)
    Now click on the Icon to 'Insert Hyperlink' type the text you want the link to display into the first text box that appears, click ok, then paste the real link into the next text box that appears, click ok, then preview it to make sure it's right Job Done

    Nope, it's just easier for some folk to visualise it better clicking the buttons than trying to organise the code in the right way
