    Hey Fi, whilst i've been messing with the internet explorer font stuff :I i came a ccross a wee thing that makes the screen go white
    Only trouble would be that all screens would be white and it's not that great, but, if it's white background and black text you seek then:-

    On internet explorer, go tools, internet options
    Then select the accesibilty button on the general tab, now put a tick in the "ignore colours specified on web pages" voila, you won't be able to live with it though, but, try it out

    It's not a permanent fix by any means and some other sites are horrible, but, with a couple of mouse clicks you can have a white background
