Why car wash's / valeters aint a good idea

    well, this car was a christmas present for my cousin last year, the car was detailed, no swirls or anything was left on it, looked perfect. I have it for a week, and after i got the bird crap etc off of it, it looked like this.



    The left hand side of the bonnet has been left as it was, the right hand side has been worked on with compound and SSR2.5 on a porter cable. The swirl marks were really bad, and when i asked who had been washing the car "oh the wee valeter in the shopping center car park" ****** ARGHHHHH !!!! Im goin up to see him :blackeye:

    Ill post up pics of the full bonnet done soon. Remember ... car washes and valeters are evil

    Me? your forgetting who i am , not washed it once, never will...

    Hard enough trying to keep the bl**dy mini clean! Plus im sh*te at cleaning and detailing my car :clown:

    ok heres the bonnet finished. I got the car for a week, so thats all im doin today ... England game here i come

    Aye - but it's when you see them drop the sponge by mistake and pick it up and stick it straight back on the paintwork!! You don't get much for a fiver these days!!

    Yeah Wul thats the added extras that come with the valet. Full valet £10 now with added swirls

    lol! I thought there was a huge scratch on the bonnet at first but it's just the line of pipe or whatever from the roof of the house reflecting in the bonnet. :)
