Right, here's a question for the mini gurus out there.

Just got ploughed into by a lorry on the A90 on tuesday, thankfully I wasn't in my car but my sisters! (she's in new zealand). Anyway, I think her corsa will be a write off so it would be good if we could get a mini as a replacement.

What I need to know is some rough monthly figures on say an £11000 cooper with a £3000 deposit. The cheaper the better.

    THAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSS

Depends on how many months you take the loan over , 24 , 36 ,48. The longer the loan the cheaper the monthly cost , the down side is you obviously pay more in the end

Speaking from past experience £7000 over 48 months = just under £170 per month (I got a good % rate via a mate who works in finance)

Go onto the tinternet & bounce your £8 around the various loan companies & see what the options are.

Also sure Mr Brown would see you OK :approve:

www.moneysupermarket.com works well - plug in the amount you want to borrow and the duration and it'll find the best loans available - also gives you an idea of your credit scoring too.

    Watch out on dealer finance.

There are often expensive set up and final fees to pay which can make their percetages work out a lot worse than they look.

I have only had car finance once and the dodgy sales guy neglected to tell me the first payment was £100 more expensive due to the set up fees - never again!

Cheers minime, its not actually me who will be buying it, it'll be my parents. So I'll see what they say. I want them to get a mini but you never know. Plus its taking a while for the insurance to be sorted out.
