im almost ordering a new min D from minime unless i decide on a cooper from him. Does anyone here own or have owned a D. I want to know if they are ok at over taking when on the back roads and motorways and what kind of average fuel consumption you get with it. I drove one today and it didnt seem too slow but it was certainly not fast either.

If you buy one you can forget about overtaking, they are pretty gutless. If you are looking for a nippy car you won't get very good fuel economy either as you'll always have your foot to the floor. Heather used to have one but traded it in within months due to the lack of performance and disappointing economy, It could be the one that you are looking at - astro black with lots of toys.

i was going to be ordering a new one D. Where about can you take them to get chipped and how much does it cost. What would the power be then. i think its 88 bhp as standard.
What average fuel economy do you folks get with a cooper. I do about 20k every year so i thought diesel would be best.
