ECU re-maps

    Can some one explain to me

    what is the difference with a ECU re map and a ECU Live re-map.?????
    Cooper Coupe...

    As a pure guess i would say a remap is purely that, a new map is uploaded to replace the existing one.
    A live remap is one that is tuned to the car and changed accordingly several times to gain the best map for the car during road trials.
    BBR perform their remaps this way after engine upgrades :)

    on this topic, has anyone ever had their "one" chipped? What are they like and is it worth it. In reality I probably won't bother my 4rse doing this just wanted to know if it makes much difference.
