    Just a quick question..
I'm planning on putting my amp, sub and rear 6x9s 'back' in the new car
    at the weekend...

anyone know if it would be safe enough to take a live feed from the Auxiliary Socket in the boot since in the newer cars it's back?

Had it from the battery all the way at the front in the last one, and I figure it would be MUCH easier to take it from the rear of this socket if it would be safe enough...

LnL - you'd need to check the fuse rating on the circuit for the rear "fag lighter" socket :I as i'd guess it's probably not high enough for your amp.

The current draw of your amp would be too high for the thin gauge of wire feeding the socket
