MY IDEA IS FOR NEXT YEAR 2004 FOR A PRIVATE MINI PARTY.
I THOUGHT I WOULD SEE HOW MANY WOULD BE INTEREST IN HIRE CRAIL AIRFILD FOR THE 1/4 MILE DOWN THE AIR STRIP,WITH THE MINIS .
MAYBE HAVE GROUPS- ONE,COOPER,COOPER S AND THE DIESEL.
THERE WILL BE A COST PER CAR, DONT KNOW YET BUT WILL FIND OUT.
AS I SAID IT IS JIST AN IDEA, BUT PUT YOU NAMES DOWN AN I WILL GET BACK WITH DATES AND PRICES.:)

Sounds good to me. Don't they have a circuit as well? that would be much more fun in a mini that drag racing - minis were built for corners! mind you might be safer in a straight line.

tahre i will hold you to that, but i think we will have alot of minis.
It'd be nice to see something happening at Crail :) Linda tried at the bginning of the year (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...ighlight=Crail) but there didn't seem to be enough interest :disapprove: and there was another thread not that long ago by Anteater that seemed to die a death :dead:
Looking back at Linda's old thread I see that costs were going to work out around £35 per car.
