I saw a car yesterday with the front number plate displaying the registration in mirror image, so that it would look correct if viewed by another driver in their mirror.
It looked weird and I actually had to walk round and look at the rear plate to make sure I was not imagining things.
Doubt it - I thought your not allowed to change with the font, layout, colour or anything else (to be fair, I've not left much!)

I think you might find that someone is playing a joke on this poor guy and turned his plate upside down. There was a spate of this in Aberdeen a while back where people would either turn plates upside down or put the back on the fron and vice versa. LOL, yeah I saw a couple of plates that had this done in Abz, as sleepy said. But that one was quite subtle and was messing with my head too
