meguires tech wax

    saw this product today in Halfords for £14.99 per bottle ,is it any good and is it better than Mer?. the person in Halfords tells me its the best thing on the market, also can i apply this over the superguard ive got on the car for that extra shine.

    It's far better than Mer lesley. I've tried them both and it's far easier to apply and doesn't go all powdery when buffed off. Wul will be along shortly for the superguard question. :)

    Yip - as Col said it's better than mer - mer is basically a polish - ie it doesn't really leave any protection (ie wax) on the car after you've buffed it up. Although i'm sure it will leave an ickle bit

    Don't see any reason not to apply it over the top of your supaguard - if it's as good as it says it is (I have my doubts)all you'll be doing is increasing the protection on your car :)

    Tech wax is great stuff, best wax ive tried to date.
    Easy to apply and buff too

    tech wax , the best thing on earth for the paint work, cars like a mirror, the cloth just slides off the car when put on the bonnet
