[s]My gear knob is mangled. It's the standard cooper knob but the chrome stuff is flaking off.

    looking for a cheap replacement.[/s]

The small round hand operated device which allows me to manually move the stick which connects to my gearbox, is lacking in aesthetic value. It is the standard cooper small round hand operated device which allows me to manually move the stick which connects to my gearbox, however the chrome stuff is flaking off. GOSH!

    I am seeking a non-expensive replacement.

It would have been cheeky to ask

If you have it spare that would be great.

    Did you get my email?

    Ah,
ok well basically I came across the multi changer cassette and it's full of your CDs. What I thought was I might nip to your house with them and while im there I could pick your brains about the install.

The guy who is helping me do it has never installed to a mini before.

I could also pick up your spare gear knob.

I would probably not be up for a couple of weeks or so though.
