I take it Disney or Pixar films are not to be included, which doesn't leave me with alot, so here goes!
1) Gladiator
2) Austin Powers - Goldmember
3) City of Angels
My personal opinion is I don't think you could go wrong with Gladiator although Goldmember is a good film for watching pre-pish up, gets you giggling!!

UPDATE: My client picked the following three films as options for attendees to vote for the film they wished to see at the cinema at the end of their teambuilding day - selection is made via a personal voting keypad thingy (Who Wants to be a Millionaire? style - "Ask the Audience" and no, they cant phone a friend!) and the most popular film voted will be screened:
1. Shawshank Redemption
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Shrek 2
...not a bad mix!
