    Can someone give me a couple of tips on how to have piccies of the motor in my posts (either in my signature or the wee strip on the left)? Help!

    Easy peasy, you have to post the image somewhere else on the web, then get the URL (address) of the image you wish to post.

    To include it in the post use the code [img] put the URL here /img] (missing [ so you can see the code)

    eg. my signature images are
    [img] http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/20007/49680_thumb.jpg /img]

    Which when you put in the missing [ looks like: -

    I would ask folk - if you are using images, please try to avoid using MINI2 as the host.
    Use one of these free photo hosting sites.

    Bandwidth theft is a very annoying for the webmasters concerned.
