    If so John Lewis do some lovely macs with 2 yrs warranty lol

    to Willie, u know u want a mac really, its just you pc users have a problem admitting it

    Who has tried the new iChat AV software on the Macintosh? (Video and Audio conferencing)

    Ive got it on my imac

    My firewire web cam works on yahoo messenger but it doesnt seem to like it on ichat using an aim account

    maybe i need to have a .mac account for it to work

    not to sure as i havent really used it yet.

    Roll on Panther and a new G5 would be nice if anyone wants to buy me one:)

    Which iMac model do you have? You need at least a 600MHz G3 or any G4 for video with the beta of iChat AV:( (You also need broadband for video)

    The AIM account will work exactly the same as a .mac account.

    If you want to try an audio chat sometime let me know.

    That would explain it!!

    Im using a imac dvd se 400mhz

    120gb hard drive and 384mb ram , with a 512k cable modem broadband connection

    GAJ I expect you to go out and buy an iSight camera/mic for your G4 right away so that we can video chat.

    U cant have been that bad Gaj, but it does look like a nice wee toy, another nice bit of design from apple.
