    Hi, I just bought a used 8.8" screen & media unit for my 2017 F57, its out a 2014 Mini with Sat +, does anyone know if it will need coding to fit or should it be plug & play as its the screen & unit thats being replaced and not just the screen?

    Great upgrade but I honestly couldn’t answer. It’s not something I’ve heard of anyone doing before. I’d be surprised if it didn’t needed coded as most things with BMW/MINI do
