    Hey Folks,
    I’ve been a follower of the Facebook page for a while but only registered to the actual forum today! Doh!

    I got my first Mini earlier this year after trading my 5 Series in and getting a nice chunk of change back (first time that’s ever happened!). It’s a 69 plate Cooper S Sport II that had only done 6200 miles. Always fancied trying a Mini so felt the time was right and I’m loving it so far

    Hi,

    I was given the use of a van as part of my job but due to some changes at work I no longer need it. So I decided to buy a car to commute to work and generally getting around. I love convertables and always wanted to try a Mini. After some searching I found a Mini R59 Roadster JCW. This was not what I started out looking for but I had seen them about and like the look of them. I thought that I would not likely find one in my priced range as they are quite rare.

    As it is 10 years old I thought that it might be a good idea to join a club such as this one for advice and tips on any issues I might come accross. I would also like to get out and about so the meetups also appeal.
