    We managed to check out the route today.

    Our initial plan had been to drive back to Chatelherault Park after lunch but Cairn Lodge Services feels like a more natural end point. The farm-style kitchen should be open for lunch and there's a great selection of lighter bites for smaller appetites. It also ties in with this being a shorter event to start off our new year of NMS adventures

    Run notes should be up some point this evening.

    We should arrive at Cain Lodge Services around 12pm. If anyone needs to shoot off at this stage then please feel free to do so, however the plan is to enjoy lunch at the farm-shop restaurant with those who can stay.
