    Due to an emergency road closure the A708 (road between Selkirk and Moffat) will be closed on Sunday. I’ll have a look and see if we can use another road or use a completely different run altogether. Either way we’ll still get out on Sunday to have a good time

    Had a look and also spoke with Andrew who has said that we've used the Cappercleuch to Tweedsmuir road before that goes via past Megget Reservoir. This means there will be a diversion when we get onto the A708 but for the most part the run will be the same.

    Sadly it cuts about 20 miles off the run, but on the plus side it's a nice single track road with a couple of options for parking up if the weather is dry. It will likely be busier with locals avoiding the closure, but from memory there's loads of passing places so we should be ok.

    Really what Andrew is saying here is if this section of the run goes wrong, point fingers at him
