Hi, I already have a 2014 mini mini cooper hatch diesel manual that my short legged wife refuses to drive as she says her wee fat belly gets in the way of the steering wheel when she try's to operate the pedals. I'm now considering to buying her a 2014 countryman automatic but was wondering if the driving position is any different from the mini cooper hatchback I have. (She prefers automatics).
I also have a rather large dog which I wondered if the countryman would be suitable for it.
    Many thanks.

The countryman seating position is different. Might be worth going to look at one and seeing how she gets on

    Good reply Especially from Scottch.
I'm looking at buying online a (almost) non runner that's coming up for sale. Rattily cam chain job. As suggested by Mini William I guess we could go and look at one, its just a case of trying to get the wife motivated to go and look at one. I do need to act fast on it though so don't really have time to go and look at one.
