    When I say same engine, I mean the same engine shared between the R series cars I don’t mean between the R and F series cars

    We’ve just parted with our F60 Cooper D. We had no issues at all in the 3 years that we had it and it was good on the fuel too.

    Prices have come down a little so you might be able to find a used 2017 one at a decent price.

    We get about 350 miles per tank in our R60, which is a petrol Cooper S. And that's mostly town miles. Motorway would be much better. I'd imagine the diesel would get you 500 or so.
