Can anyone recommend a car transport company they have used?

It might be an alternative for me depending on cost to going down myself to collect my car from Milton Keynes at the end of lockdown.

I've never used a transport company before either and am apprehensive about using one as have always been able to jump in the car with a friend and go and pick a car up. Was just on the off chance that someone on here had a recommendation.

Think I'll just need to be patient and wait until end of lockdown and just do my usual

I used “Car Storage Scotland” way back in April 2016(!) to transport my MGB up from Surrey on the recommendation of the classic dealer I was buying from, but that’s the only time I’ve ever done it. It went fine, but it was very pricey. If you can, I’d maybe stick to your usual routine when you’re allowed to travel. Everything sounds pretty relaxed with your transaction so waiting a wee while longer shouldn’t be a problem,

2008 R56 COOPER S, Pepper White, Black Roof, 'John Cooper' Signature Side and Bonnet Stripes, JCW 'Stage 1' Tuning Kit, Forge Intercooler, Milltek Downpipe & Sports Cat, ALTA Induction, Chris Knox/DNA Remap, JCW/Brembo Brakes, Limited Slip Diff, JCW Suspension and Front Strut Brace, 17" Crown Spokes with Non-Runflat 205/45x17 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, JCW/Recaro leather Seats, JCW Sideskirts, Chili Pack, Front Spotlights. Still got my old Hendrix Badge blu-tacked to the dash!

Our Convertible came from Litchfield and the dealer arranged a driver for £45 from memory. Just had to take him to the train station after he dropped it off, but realise that isn't strictly a COVID safe solution currently (and was back in 2017).

EDIT - These guys are in that game, might be worth a quote? https://www.pro-driver.co.uk/vehicle-movements-service/

Cheers for the link buddy but after considering a few options I've decided to just go down in early May and collect it. I'm looking into getting a supercharger service and a few other jobs with a specialist in Manchester on the way back home. Will head back down to pick it up from there a week or so later.
