Hi, When I turn the interior heater on and then turn the directional flow dial to a different zone.(foot well, face, etc) there is a flapping sound that’s coming from under the dash. Has anyone come across this fault. ( Mini One, 1.4 2007)

Never come across it ,but could it be that something has come adrift
The cars in front are New MINI Scotland
Not something I’ve had but sounds like something has come loose or detached. How loud is it? Might be worth taking off one of the vents in the footwell and having a look

Thanks, sounds like the directional flaps are moving very quickly sounding like a slapping noise. It lasts for a couple of seconds then stops.maybe a weak spring or springs.
