    Folks
Now for sale my Mini Cooper S. Just back from garage with a fresh MOT.
I replaced cv joints, drive shafts and a ball joint so the car is driving really well.

Since getting it back the ABS light has come on along with the traction control and tyre pressure lights. I think they are all linked. Garage reckon its a wiring issue but thats not their specialism so recommend auto electrician.

The car is rust free and looks great. The mileage is 142,000 (not 145) and it goes like scalded cat.
Serious for sale so the first person to make me a sensible offer can drive it away.
It would be a great wee runabout or funtastic track car project. Its already had a lot of work done as per my original post, below, anybody wanting a great base to start taking it to the next level then this could be an easy lockdown project.
Drop me a pm if you want any more info or to come and see it.
    Mini Cooper S - 2003
    145,000miles - Still going strong
    No rust
    6 speed Getrag box
Metallic Blue with white bonnet stripes and Black/grey leather interior.
    Panoramic Sunroof
    Heated Seats
    Cruise Control
That's the standard stuff - now the additions / mods:
New brake pipes with braided hoses (3 years old)
Grooved Brake Discs and High Temp track pads
Uprated Brake Fluid for track use.
    Stainless Steel Coolant Tank
    17% reduced KAVS SC Pulley
    Airtec Intercooler
Ohlin Road and Track adjustable height and damping coilovers
    Adjustable drop links
Sports St/Steel exhaust - (not loud)
on 17" standard road wheels with very good tyres
Also has a set of 15" standard mini wheels with road legal sticky track tyres - probably close to end of life - 1 or 2 track days left in them
Previous owner has had it through GTT and it has the GTT 220 tuning kit - I think thats the reduced pulley, air intake and not sure what else re tuning.
I had the car on a dyno and it made 182.2 Engine HP

The car has been used mainly for taking our dog to the park so is need of a good interior clean up. Body work all good. No mushrooming of suspension towers.

I used the car as an occasional track toy hence some of the additions.

During my ownership its had new wheel bearings and poly-bushed the main suspension arms (not sure what they are called), timing chain tensioner and battery.

It has the usual mini oil leaks but I just keep an eye on the levels and ensure I top up regularly.

    New mot. No advisories
4 new tyres 3,000 miles ago.

I also changed the BMW gearbox oil for Redline which was recommended by OPIE Oils and others.

There is a wee bit of white smoke on start up from cold but that clears almost immediately and I keep an eye on coolant and oil - no coolant loss and no sign of water in the oil.

I think I've listed everything and tried to be as honest as possible - The car runs / drives really well and is quick. The interior shows its age but will clean up OK. Everything works - heated seats / sliding sunroof / cruise control / alarm / windows etc

    Mini William - That's appreciated - Thanks.
I reckon I will put it our there for anybody who fancies a fast / fun car / track toy or as we did - to take their dog to the park Very Fast!

I have receipts for all the things I have done to it and all it needs is a new owner to polish it up and have as much fun with it as I have had!

OK - So I have decided that I really cant justify keeping the mini any longer - too many cars!

The spec is in the post above so happy to hear from anybody who would like to view the car or wants further information/photos etc.

I reckon the car will make a great track toy as it is or for those who enjoy modifying / projects it is a great starting point to take it to the next stage and create a track optimised car.

Looking for £2000 - just pm me if interested
