We have a Karcher pressure washer at parents house, but I have no idea what model number it is.

I'm looking to get one for my own house, any recommendations from the current models available?

For what its worth, I'm into the snow foam as well, if can find one thats thick enough rather than just running off the car ..........if that makes a difference.

    thanks

K2 or a K4 are good. In response to your snow foam problem try changing the dilution ratio that your currently using

I've had good success with Autofinesse Avalanche Snow foam. As William's said, it could be the dilution ratio that's causing it to run off. Some snow foam nozzles also have adjustment for the spray pattern which can make a big impact on the thickness and stickiness of the foam.

We've got a Karcher K2 - it's powerful enough to get any and all dirt off the car without being too powerful that you risk blasting off vinyls or even paint. It's also a decent price, has been very reliable, and is nice and easy to cart around.

Priced well, reliable and powerful enough to do the car.

I’m currently using Autofinnesse Avalanche with great results

The K4 has a water cooled pump which last longer than the K2 which doesn't....

I bought a Nilfisk p150 6 years ago and has been faultless. Did some research and this was the lowest cost pw that had a brass pump and not plastic one that was used by Karcher at the time.
Another vote for Auto Finesse Avalanche used in a proper snow foam bottle. The small bottle that came with pw was useless.

I liked my K2, not a bad choice at all.
